Trans Wellness Ontario strives to provide low-barrier services to members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community ages 13 and up.

All of our individual services have no cost and are voluntary. This means that you may end your time with us whenever you feel that is is best for you.

The only commitment required, is to yourself.

General

Counselling

We provide short term general, client-directed, goal-focused counseling for individuals seeking support provided by a Registered Social Worker.

Transition Related Support offered in General Counselling

  • Secondary Letters of Assessment for Transition Related Surgery

Counseling support is by appointment only and available for those who identify as trans, queer, and/or questioning over the age of 13 in Ontario.

Peer

Our peer support workers are folks with lived experience who provide support and guidance to fellow individuals at any stage of their gender journey.

Peer support is by appointment only and available for those who identify as transgender, non-binary, gender diverse and/or questioning their gender identity over the age of 13 in Ontario.

During individual sessions with the parent peer mentor, parents and caregivers have the opportunity to delve into questions that may be difficult to discuss with your trans loved one. Individuals can find support in this safe environment to best support their trans children.

Parent peer support is a virtual service by appointment only and available for parents with transgender children of any age.

Referrals

Referrals to Trans Wellness Ontario Services are done on a self referral basis. This means you can just reach out to us yourself if you're looking for support or services.

If you are a friend, partner, parent or guardian of an individual receiving services at Trans Wellness please note that we cannot provide you with any information regarding your loved one’s intake status, or upcoming appointments unless we receive proper documentation to do so.
